Total Community Action, Inc. will host Super Low Income Home Energy Assistance Day for residents of Orleans Parish in need of utility assistance and other TCA services on December 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes School Gym, 2437 Jena street from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. TCA will be providing all LIHEAP and community services on a first-come, first served basis. No appointments required.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help low-‐income households pay their heating and cooling bills as well as increase their energy self-‐ sufficiency. The program targets people with the lowest income and the highest energy cost based on income and family size. Payment is made directly to the utility provider on behalf of the recipient.
