Total Community Action, Inc. Energy Services will be unable to accept applications for REGULAR LIHEAP ENERGY SERVICES AT THIS TIME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
DISCONNECT SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED
ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
8:30 A.M. TO 12:00 NOON ONLY
OR UNTIL MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS REACHED
(NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Head start will stay open during government shutdown.
• Our staff are not federal employees, so funding is not immediately affected.
• Funding would only be at risk if the shutdown lasts past our grant start date.
• If the shutdown causes any delay in federal renewal families and staff will get updates from TCA program leaders.
• Head start is committed to serving children and families no matter what happens in Washington.
Our offices will be closed on Good Friday, April 18th, 2025, in observance of the holiday.
We will resume normal business hours on April 21st, 2025.

Total Community Action, Inc. Energy Services will be unable to accept any new LIHEAP (Energy Assistance) applications at this time for Non-Crisis and Crisis (Disconnect Notices) DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
WE WILL START TAKING APPLICATIONS AGAIN ON TUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2025 AT 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 NOON FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE FOR NON-CRISIS AND CRISIS (DISCONNECT NOTICES).
All regular non-crisis LiHEAP and disconnect services are temporarily suspended until further notice.
St. David Head Start Center, located at 1230 Lamanche St, New Orleans, LA 70117, will be closed on January 28, 2025, due to low water pressure.
