  • Clients can begin their application online on this page.  A FAQ document and an instructions documents are provided to assist you in completing the application. The application is a PDF fill in form that will allow electronic signature. Clients will also have the option of printing the PDF form in order to sign and submit along with copies of the necessary documents. Using the PDF fill-in, clients will select submit and through your email program the final submission with occur.  You will then email application and the required documents to agency-designated LIHEAP address. Clients that choose to print and fill out the form must have the ability to scan the application and the documents and then submit via email. Clients may also print and submit application to the TCA dropbox located at 1410 S. Jefferson Davis Parkway – Inside.

  • All online applications and documents will receive an electronic date and timestamp. Completed applications will be assigned to a LIHEAP certifier upon receipt and review by the supervisor. Incomplete applications will be returned to the client via email noting the reason the application is incomplete, with instructions to cure the incompleteness within five (5) business days.

  • Upon certification of application, the LIHEAP certifier will email or mail a confirmation letter to client acknowledging the benefit amount applied to their account.
